Have any of you seen the Chumby? (www.chumby.com)

Sort of an alarm clock, sort of a web player, sort of ... well, you've gotta see it. Go look. I'll wait here.

This is the coolest tech gadget I've seen lately and I can't wait to get my hands on one.

It works on "widgets" which are little flash programs. What's lacking is a widget to play podcasts. Seems to me that the first podcast player to work on the Chumby will get a lot of attention in the marketplace. So, any chance of a Chumby-specific version of the Pickle Player?

Short Cummings Audio -- First Anniversary!

I'm pleased to announce that this coming Sunday will see the first anniversary of Short Cummings Audio.

In that time I've produced 53 episodes (#53 comes out on Saturday).

To mark the occasion I've produced a special BONUS episode which will be released on Sunday. It's a different format than my usual essay. I'll be telling a little about how Short Cummings Audio came to be, thanking some of the people who have helped me along the way and announcing a very special surprise about my website.

How To Track Page Hits

I'm trying to understand my audience a little bit better and I want to be able to tack how many of them visit some of the pages on my website.

I have Google Analytics account, but I honestly can't make sense of some of the advanced features like goals and tracking URLs.

So, if I wanted an invisible marker which would tell me how many people have visited a particular page on my Libsyn-hosted website, what would you more technologically adapt folks recommend?
