For anyone who hasn't heard yet, Doug Price, the voice of Dr. Floyd, lost his house in the California wildfires. Grant is asking anyone who can to pitch in and help Doug out until the insurance money comes in and is offering a nice prize: an exclusive episode to anyone who donates $5 or more.
Doug is a great guy, and this season of Thanksgiving, it's a time to help out those in need. All the details at http://www.doctorfloyd.com/doug/

This was a really cool interview. No surprise, but most of what congress and "family" groups say is just plain wrong and based on bad science. We got a couple Harvard professors who took a completely different approach, and the results are amazing.

Hi, everyone. We've recently switched TTfF to shorter shows more often, although this one ran a bit long because of our new contest.
Episode 36: Undercover Shoppers http://techtalkforfamilies.com/episode_36_...rcover_shoppers News * Facebook Safeguards * How easily can kids buy M-Rated games? * WiiWare Launched! Plus, check out our latest reviews, and we have, as promised, a new contest!

CreateSpace.com is, from what I've heard, a great way to get your show out to the masses via a different medium, especially since they do create-on-demand CDs, &c. I know I heard about a similar service on a podcast like Podcast Academy or Paul Colligan's show or one of those. I seem to remember it had a Japanese-sounding name, or else it was just a Web 2.0 name that reminded me of some Japanese words.
I've tried finding it in Google and other places and can't find it anywhere. Anyone know what I'm talking about? |
